How much does it cost?

Why is there an 8-page minimum?
Page count includes the cover, back cover and the pages opposite these. If you were to have any less than 8 pages, it wouldn’t have enough pages to “flip” like a real magazine. This way, it has the feel of a full-length publication.
What type of picture files should I send?
JPEG files work best when creating printed publications but if you have a different file type, we can see if it’s compatible with our software. If a picture file cannot be used, we will contact you and hopefully be able to replace it with another one of your photos. Digital photos are strongly recommended, as scanned photographs do not have the same high-quality result.
How long does it take to make my magazine?
This depends on how quickly your designer receives all of your photos and content (article text). Once everything is received, please allow about 3 weeks before a final proof will be emailed to you. Proof edits take another day or two, depending on how many changes you would like to make. Printing and delivery takes about another 3 weeks.
Will the information provided for the magazine be kept private and not distributed to anyone except me?
Yes. Your information is kept private and we will not distribute any copies of your magazine to anyone but the client (unless otherwise instructed).
What if I change my mind and decide I do not want the magazine?
Full design fee payment is due before any design work can begin. Due to the personalized nature of this product, once design work has begun, refunds on design fees will not be given. If copies were ordered but not yet sent to print, a refund on copies will be issued.
How long will you keep my magazine on file in case I want to order more?
We store each magazine for 1 year if you decide to order more copies at a later date. You would only pay for the additional copies, unless changes are made to the existing magazine, then a small editing fee may be incurred.

How many pictures/stories do I need to provide?
For a standard 8-page magazine, we suggest you come up with 7-8 articles and about 10-12 photos. You can do more or less, it’s completely up to you and what we can fit into each page.
Who actually writes the articles?
Each client needs to provide us with article copy. If you need help developing the articles further, we can help with that. Please be sure to write each article in 3rd person (“John met Susan” instead of “I met Susan”).
Do I get to review the magazine before it goes to print?
Yes, you will receive an electronic color copy of the completed magazine in pdf and can make changes and edits as you see fit.
What size/material paper do you print on?
Our paper is FSC-certified, which means it’s from responsibly managed forests and verified recycled sources. It is 50% recycled (10% post-consumer, 40% pre-consumer). We use the same paper for both the interior and cover pages. The magazines are 8.25” x 10.75” and are bound by staples.

What are shipping costs?
Shipping costs depend on how many copies you order (weight) and how fast you need delivery. This price will be determined once your order is placed and shown on your Paypal invoice.
Do you provide rush delivery?
Yes. Rush delivery via fed-ex is guaranteed within 3 business days.
Will I get a tracking number for my shipment?
Yes. Each order will have a tracking number provided by fed-ex. We will e-mail you a shipping confirmation with this number included.
